Operation Ganga, Diary of a Public Servant

Operation Ganga, Diary of a Public Servant

Operation Ganga, Diary of a Public Servant

Operation Ganga, diary of a public servant seems to be a religious, spiritual name but actually it was an evacuation mission of India for the stranded Indian medical students at Ukraine.

Operation Ganga was launched by government of India on 26 February 2022 by Indian Ministry of External Affairs and Indian Armed Forces to evacuate the Indian students at Ukraine.

Why Indian students were present at Ukraine?

Indian students who could not get selected in medical branch in India, try to complete their medical studies from Ukraine.

Who is the author of this book?

The book is written by Mr. Tarun Kumar Pithodea senior IAS officer in government of Madhya Pradesh.

What are various sources of book?

The author had contacted Indian authorities, the diplomats, the concerned persons who were a part of that mission or volunteering in the mission.

Author Mr. Tarun Kumar Pithode contacted numerous Indians students in order to get the cutting-edge story / information.

What is so special about the book?

The book narrates the ordeal of Indian students like Jatin Prasad, Ananta,Yogesh, Vedant   Shivani, Amit…  and others who were evacuated at the time of Russia attack.

I found all the chapters of the book, interesting as well as informative.

The book provides in hand knowledge in case of disaster management.

The chapters like “Role of Indian industrialist in operation Ganga ",“Volunteers of Shri Shri “, “Maharaja ka langer” and finally “Smile please now you are in India” Touched the heart!

When Operation Ganga was completed?

The operation Ganga was completed on 10 March 2022.

Way forward

It is the responsibility of world community to find a permanent solutionfor Russia Ukraine crisis.

The five permanent members of UNO likeRussia, China and USA impose their will on other nations.  Such nations for their selfish interest can attack on any country, can wage currency war…

A recent example is the RNA virus of COVID-19 which seems to be designed in laboratory probably by China as a weapon of biological war fare.

It is time to reinforce the international community specially UNO.

To keep a check on five super powers, the Security Council should be democratised. Peaceful countries like India should be given a permanent seat.

The system of Veto should be abolished in security council so that the world community can take decision on majority basis.

Congratulations to the author  Mr. Tarun Kumar  Pithode for writing series of blockbuster like “I M Possible”, “Happiness A New Model Of Human Behaviour”, “Asambhav Se Sambhav Ki Ore

Tootate Rishte Darakte Ghar”, “The Battle Against Covid: Diary of a Bureaucrat”.

All the best Tarun ji for “Operation Ganga, Diary of a public servant”!
